Carlsbad Yoga Events
Carlsbad Village Yoga opened their doors Thursday night October 10th for the Taste of Carlsbad event where guests enjoyed sampling local haunts places and drinks all for a set price for guests and residents that participated. Our studio hosted Local Roots Kombucha in the center of the yoga studio. Candy, Beth, Cora and
myself enjoyed greeting guests as they walked in, while handing out 1 Free Yoga class to each guest and our current class schedule.
The energy of that night had an electric feel as the sun dipped down behind the horizon and residents hung out for awhile, enjoying Local Roots Kombucha. I had fun taking videos for the Instagram page and snapping quick shots of all of the fun.
Joy Paul, also arrived to join in the festivities. Joy has a private room featured here where you can come in, relax and take the stress lines off your face, while rejuvenating in this comfortable space. Featured here are the prices for facials given by Joy. Click here to check to find out more about Joy. If you would like to book a facial, call her direct number listed on the price sheet.
Cora, just started teaching STAND TALL yoga class at 4 p.m. on Thursdays for middle school and high school teenagers, that reinforces body self acceptance and self love taught by Cora on Thursdays. If you want to drop in, the first time is free if you mention this post (or went to the Taste of Carlsbad.)
What’s wonderful about Carlsbad Village Yoga is the warm, inviting atmosphere of the studio and those that
teach there as well. As a practitioner of yoga for many years before teaching yoga, it’s so refreshing to teach
at a yoga studio that caters to many levels of yoga students. From my gentle yoga class on Thursday and Sunday (every other Sunday, alternating with Brian), a ‘Welcome to Yoga’ beginner’s class Monday nights at 6 p.m. with lots of modifications, to Level 2 & 3 with Karen at 6 p.m. on Tuesdays and Sundays Level 1 & 2, to Beth’s Yin Class on Thursday’s at 7:30 p.m.
If you are looking for a place to stretch, breath deep, get a good work-out in with Vinyasa flow, this is your studio. Carlsbad Village Yoga offers three weeks of
yoga for only $30.00, so you can try the studio for three weeks!
There is a monthly option, too. Check pricing on the website.
How wonderful to be part of the The Taste of Carlsbad‘ at
Carlsbad Village Yoga’s studio. I loved meeting and greeting the guest and exchanging conversation with many of the locals in Carlsbad.
Namaste for this week,
Machel (sounds like Ma-shel)
P.S. It’s not too late for you to drop in at the Full Moon Circle happening tonight or to sign-up for the ‘Worrier to Warrior’ event happening tomorrow: Description of Workshop this Sunday from 2-4 p.m. follows:
“The Worrier to Warrior workshop is a safe, calming and empowering experience that offers a vast toolbox of techniques to calm the mind and open to the pristine present moment. While these practices are tools that Lisa collected on her path of healing from disordered anxiety and panic, this workshop is appropriate for anyone wanting to cultivate a kinder inner dialogue and release the grip of worry about “what other people think”. During the workshop, you will be invited to explore mindful, intentional movement including purposeful yoga postures, breathing techniques, guided meditations, visualizations, compassionate personal inquiry and journaling.”- Lisa Dumas
