Taylor was introduced to yogic postures in 2004 with dance, cheer and gymnastics and experienced the many benefits of asana practice at an early age. A decade later, in 2014, she began her teaching journey – intentionally pairing body and mind to help create a peaceful, healthful state for herself and others. She knew she had a passion for teaching after seeing and understanding the impact yoga classes could have on its students. Upon her Westward arrival in 2017, she began training in SUP yoga and eventually found her way into aerial arts, which she feels help to center her on and off the mat, amplifying the importance of breath and body connection and awareness. Currently, she teaches on the water, on the beach, and in the studio, holding a 200 hour, college level teacher training certification and will obtain an additional 300 hour certification within the month of May 2019.
